https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12206192/Study tested whether dogs socially evaluate humans based on direct or indirect (eavesdropping) food-giving interactions. Dogs showed no significant preference for 'generous' over 'selfish' humans.
